Playing Sabbioneta

“Playing Sabbioneta” is a project developed by ACTA in collaboration with Open Lab. It explores game mechanics and public participation dynamics in planning within the context of Sabbioneta, a 16th-century UNESCO World Heritage site in Italy.

ActaNet The project aims to inform and empower the local population in decision-making processes by leveraging digital imagery, gaming, and new technologies, thereby fostering active citizenship and sustainable tourism planning.

Open Lab has developed “Bolt” a web based game realised for the Bocconi University. This game has been developed for the web using HTML / javascript and collects the data flow from the game used in classrooms in the context of Acquisiton strategy lessons. The game collects all the students’ game flows allowing teachers analyze and discuss their approach to the problem.
